I worked with SIMARK at Shrewsbury's Theatre Severn where they were responsible for various elements of the construction work at the theatre ranging from 1st fix through to the completion of the high quality finishes in the auditoria. Throughout this time I found all of their operatives cooperative, diligent and able to offer constructive advice, which was particularly useful on such a technical and time and cost constrained project. Of notable mention is the Oak Panelling to the exterior of the building where SIMARK were keen to undertake a practial role in offering advice to myself and the architect. They assisted in minimising cost whilst achieving the finish and appearance required by the client. Other such work was the seating in the main auditorium where the first fix carpentry set out the main auditorium seating rows where accuracy was key as this had to take into account the mechanical engineering requirements of the scheme. I hold SIMARK and all of their operatives in the highest regard and look forward to being able to work with them again on future projects.
